Women Writing for (a) Change offers a variety of programs for women, girls, and men (in some settings) using writing as a tool for self-expression.
Founded by Mary Pierce Brosmer in 1991 in Cincinnati, Ohio, WWf(a)C creates a safe and non-competitive environment to develop writing skills, strengthen voices, and empower individuals to create positive change. For more information about Mary Pierce Brosmer and about the affiliates, please visit www.womenwriting.org.
Locally, the Indianapolis affiliate has offered classes since 2006 including core classes, workshops, retreats, public read-arounds, and outreach programs.
Women Writing for (a) Change provides writing opportunities to individuals for whom writing is an important creative, spiritual, healing, and transformative process.
